wow it's wednesday

Wow it's Wednesday already.  I've been pretty busy.  School will be over soon and I am ready.  Things are really getting busy with prom, the play, my kid graduating next Saturday. Can you feel the pride??  I'll bring a camera to share my proud graduate"s moment.  We going on Friday night for a mini vacation.  I had a 1/2 day today, but I run more on the these days, I also ran some errands, cooked dinner, did some laundry...

Liz started her play tonight with opening night.  She in a play called Suessacial.  It's about Dr Suess of course.  She has a chorus part which means she's on every night.  I am going with Tina (Eric's girl friend) tomorrow night.  Fortunately Eric is coming home on Saturday to see friends so he can be here with Liz this weekend.  I trust her, but why give the kid a chance to be bad.  Besides she will be too busy.  Her play is on 2 times on Saturday.  We'll be home from Indiana on Sunday, after we pack the boy up and move him home or should I say his home.  He's going to share part of a house with his friend Bobby. Now Bobby is a great kid, but he"s very full of himself, he actually thinks he's Superman.  Tim balances him out.

Kid's grow up fast, but the nice thing is I have my time with Mark...and I can go visit the kids...ahhhhh adulthood...works for me.

Going to rest I pooped

mother's day

I have had a very nice mother's day.  Liz wanted to make sure she spent time with me.  Isn't that thoughtful?  First we washed the dogs, which in itself is a chore, my big one is over 100 pounds and the little one is spaz.  But we did it outside becuaes it is plenty warm out.  She and I painted her dresser and then went for a drive.  She still doesn't have her license although she is driving much better.  I need to make sure I get her driving time in.  I 'd like to get her license by early summer.

Tim and Eric both called me.  Tim is done with school and we are going to his graduation this weekend.  My darling hubby teased me that I couldn't stay away from the computer that long!~! riiiiiiiight!

otherwise she and Mike are watching a movie and hubby is pouting upstairs.  He doesn't like it when Liz has Mike over, but it was always ok when his kids had girls over.  ah men such hypacrites.  oh well...I am enjoying my day ... that's my plan.

Happy momma's day all you with a mom, are a mom or hope to be one.

A night with Joel Osteen

Joel and Victoria wide at AnaheimLast night Mark and I went into Chicago to see Joel Osteen.  He is a minister from a very large church in Texas.  He's telecast is on every Sunday from his church called Lakewood Church.  Mark and I have gained so much from this messanger of God.  He is basically a down to earth man who Mark and I both relate to.  I have was so humbled to be there.  The spirit of God touched me and brought me to tears.  There were 17,000 people there for all walks of life...it was an awesome experience that I will never forget.  Nor will ever be the same.

I have been so blessed in my life and I need to start being a better person.  I get so caught up in the daily grind of life that I forget to stop and smell the Roses, to be happy, to appreciate my life as it is today.

Last night really reminded me to stay calm everyday...everyday to realize that God has a plan for my life.  This fast paced world spins so quickly ... we all try to do the best we can.  Hopefully that's enough.  For me it's not, I must do more.  And I will.

I am now going to enjoy my Saturday...it involves chores, but I am happy to be alive, and for that I am grateful.

Have a wonderful day all....love you to ROSE!

it's thursday already!

Quick update, my biopsy was negative, no cancer, no precancer.  I am very happy and Mark is very relieved.

It's a very busy time now for us.  Tomorrow night we are going to see Joel Oesteen from Lakewood church he has a huge service every Sunday on TV.  I look forward to a big huge recharge.

But now it's time to relax.  Thanks again for all the prayers.

this 'n that

Happy May!  I am doing alright.  I took today off.  My lovely hubby reminded me that I need to take care of myself plus my surgery was on my right side and that is the arm I use to open my bus service door...so I am home.

We did go to an anniversary party on Saturday night.  It was for Matt's fiancee' s parents 25th.  It was at a pizza place so it was very low key.  I was very tired yesterday though so I guess I did over do. But I rested up yesterday and I have today to continue on my recovery.  The party was nice.  The two daughters gave the parents a trip to Hawaii.  The mom had been crying all weekend anyway because my stepson and their daughter had finally moved out into their brand new house (only about 3 blocks away.) and she was crying about that...now this suprise party.  I thought that might throw her over the edge.  I would love a trip with my hubby and I am enjoying having my kids move out.  But she only has 2 and it's her last one.  I probably will cry when Liz moves out.  It was so cute I little boy came up to me and said, "hey you're my bus driver!"  He was having pizza with his family and recognized me.  He had me meet his parents...it was too cute.

I finally got to take the bandage off and I didn't realize how big the incision was.  It's about an inch long at 11:00 on the breast dial if you're using a clock as a guide.  No wonder I have pain.  And I am not afraid to take pain meds.  I know not to abuse them.  Beside with my job, I cannot take any meds 8 hours before work.    I may not even go to work tomorrow either.  I'll see how I feel.  But I am sure I will be too bored to stay home and my kiddo's are probably thinking I left them for good.

I am seeing the doctor again on Thursday and I get my test result Wednesday.  I glad I got all this over with.  Now I can enjoy my upcoming summer.

Our schedules for summer routes should be coming out soon.  I would love to get a part time route, work for 4 hours and have the summer afternoon off.  Liz went to Walgreens yesterday for an interview.  The only concern the manager had was her involvement with Drama Club.  He will let her know this week.  She has a big trip coming up next year to Disney World for show choir.  And I need her to help contribute.  She needs to work anyway otherwise she spends her whole life on the computer.  (LIKE ME).  Her boyfriend will be working this summer too...he's such a great example.

Ok enough babbling for one session.  take care all
