whoo hoo

Whoo hooo I fixed my journal I hate it when it's too big for the page and it was driving me nuts!  One of my entrys that I cut and paste was too long.

I am feeling sort a down again...so I am going to do a quick grateful list ... that should snap me out of it...

1. My sobriety

2. my hubby

3. my children

4. my job

5. my home/safe town neighborhood

6 my grand kids

7. my health

8. my open mind

9. the wonderful warm and sunny day

and last but never ever not least my GOD!

Peace all

I think that is a great idea that you made this list. I will try it the next time I get in a funk. It forces you to think of the good things. Email me if you want to talk.

There is this little song that your entry reminded me of... It's called "Count your many blessings.

"When upon lifes billows you are tempest toss
When you are discouraged thinking all is lost
Count Your many blessings name them one by one
And it will suprise you what the Lord has done."

Very good reminder!!!  Kara :)

Those down times just kind of sneak in on us, don't they, Rose? Nothing fixes it quicker than a grateful ist. You've got some precious ones listed too. They are all wonderful, expecially GOD, who gave you all the rest. Hugs, hon. *Barb*

I hope the list helped.  We all go through periods of feeling down.  Pray a lot and you will snap out of it.  God Bless You,  Nicki
